There is nothing more beneficial to skin than great spa treatments using the finest products. Not all of them are expensive, though some certainly are.
You can provide in-home spa treatments for your significant other, friends, or yourself. Be prepared with good cleansers, toners, exfoliants, anti-aging creams and lotions, plenty of moist, warm towels. It is essential to have soft light (candle light or very dim light), soothing music, and no distractions.
Aging skin benefits from Vitamin C and Seaweed. The properties of Seaweed are only understood by the chemists, but every aesthetician I’ve ever been to talks about how Seaweed is great for your skin. Dead Sea Salt is also good. I use Skinceuticals C E Ferulic serum. It’s a combination antioxidant treatment. I add a few drops to my face at night, then add a good cream. Recently, I received a treatment at a Costa Rican spa where they used Pevonia Botanical products. I am using Pevonia firming marine elastin cream day and night.
Other spa treatments I have used are Dr. R.A. Ekstein, La Mer, Epicuren Discovery. Some of these are available online, and you can use them in your At-Home Spa sessions. But, it is heaven to actually spend an afternoon at a spa where professionals use these products for anti-aging. Go for the facials and the body wraps.
Don’t forget the benefits of Vitamin E oil. When I get a lesion, pimple, unexplained bump on my skin, I dot it with Vitamin E oil every night for about a week. It works amazingly well.
