SUN BLOCK
We know our wonderful sun that warms
the earth and lights our days can also cause cancer on our
skin. You should also be aware that the sun will create deep,
deep wrinkles on unprotected skin.
Add sun block to your face first
thing every morning. Add sun block to your chest and arms and
anywhere else that may be exposed to the sun.
SPF stands for Sun Protection
Factor. Products are limited to 50 SPF, but 15 SPF is
adequate for daily use unless you are a construction worker or
lifeguard. The amount of SPF you need depends on your
lifestyle. Read the labels carefully. Not all sun
blocks are for use on your face. Not all SPF containing
products are complete sun blocks. They may be sun screens
which reflect the Ultraviolet Type B rays, but not Ultraviolet Type
A.
Make sure that your makeup includes
SPF. I prefer the tinted moisturizers to makeup foundation as
I have dry skin. Try several until you find the right weight
and coverage you need on your face. Don't forget your
neck.
Read the labels on the products, and
PLEASE wear something to protect your skin from damage-both
wrinkles and cancer.
